double bladed ironwood

A double bladed knife presents a whole new group of challenges. I actually enjoy making them but they are a challenge. This one is a bit more robust than the ones I normally make as the new owner will be using it as a working knife and requested the extra thickness in the blades. The knife is 4" closed, 7 1/4" open. The blades and back springs are CPM154 while the centre liner is titanium. The body with the integral double bolsters is 416 stainless and the covers are desert ironwood. The nail nicks are on the outside of both blades. (I still like the Dellana Dots better but haven't figured out how to do those with the double blades). Both blades are centred on closing and flush in all three positions.
