Imagine if you will a dinosaur succumbs after a courageous battle and falls, its bone coming to rest in the exact place that will allow it to become a fossil. Then take those bones and slowly over the eons replace the marrow with crystal but not only crystal but coloured crystal. Then 50 million years later some guy or gal comes along and not only finds the fossilized bone but decides, hey why not slice this open and see what it looks like inside. ......
